We at MHService are proud to announce that we have achieved certification as an Eco-Lighthouse. This is a clear signal of our commitment to sustainable business practices.

MHService is a leading supplier of oil products on land and at sea in the north-west, and the certification implies that the company undertakes to work systematically with environmental measures in everyday life. The company says that the Environmental Lighthouse certification is just one of many steps the company has taken in recent years to ensure responsible and sustainable operations.

– As Miljøfyrtårn (Eco-Lighthouse), we take active environmental responsibility and contribute to a green transition. We are thrilled to have achieved this certification, and see it as confirmation that we are a responsible and sustainable player in our industry, says Isak Stensaker, COO at MHService AS.

Miljøfyrtårn (Eco-Lighthouse) is Norway’s most widely used environmental certification and a recognized national scheme for companies and public enterprises that want to operate in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. The certification requires that the company works to reduce its environmental footprint, promotes responsible use of resources, and works actively for continuous environmental improvement in its business operations.

He says that Miljøfyrtårn (Eco-Lighthouse) operates with a system where the requirements are adapted to the industry the company operates in and specifies that the certificate is awarded after an independent assessment. As an Environmental Lighthouse, MHService must deliver annual environmental reports, and that the business must be re-certified every three years. This is a recognized certificate that the authorities attach great importance to in public procurement.

– The certification obliges us to continue our efforts to reduce our environmental impact, and we encourage our customers and partners to make sustainable choices with us, says Isak.
